Delicious, authentic Sichuanese/chendhu food. What’s even better, they deliver!
The local news article said this place is going to start a food war with Shu down the street. I think it will just dominate Shu. Anyone who think Shu is better doesn't understand Sichuanese food. The quality and authenticity is just unparalleled.
I'm sorry to say to the rest of the restaurants in Fairfield, this is my only place for Chinese food now...short of the original in Milford.
The folks down the block at Shu have got to be shaking in their knickers right about now. There is a new Sichuan King in town. Gingko, operated by the legendary Lao Szechuan group, just opened, officially throwing down the gauntlet for who's Sichuan cuisine reigns supreme. Let the games begin. One thing is for certain, the citizens of Fairfield are the winners. All your favorite Sichuan dishes are here, don't miss some less common specialities like sweet potato noodle with pork intestine.
What? Authentic Sichuan Chinese in Fairfield
County -Fairfield CT? What say you? Shu is no longer the game in town, this is the REAL deal. Try the dumplings in hot chili sauce, Westlake Soup, tripe and tongue in hot chili Sauce and eggplant with minced shrimp. We've found a great spot for the most authentically real deal in Ffld county. Same restaurant group as Lao Tse Chuan in Milford, CT, (rated best Chinese in CT by the NYT). We're thrilled to have it here. Outside of Chinatown and Flushing it's Fairfield! Most of the patrons when we ate there last week were Chinese. How my pops told me you know you're in a good Chinese spot.
Real Chinese in Fairfield CT! It's true! Hurry there. It's spicy!
